Washburn University Topeka, Kansas - mid '70's????

I had a very special call today from the brother of the earliest known owner of my Tuxedo Black '67 Z (who is unfortunately deceased now). We had a great discussion about the car and you could hear the excitement in his voice as we talked about a car that was very special to his brother and now, his family in general. Anyway, he told me that his brother bought the car from a Washburn University student in 1976. It was all black then with no stripes and had '68/'69 Z-28 emblems on it with a flat hood. It was driven back and forth to Washburn and had a University parking sticker on the windsheild. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone remember the car????
