Default Black/gold 1978 T/A price?

Hey guys,

What do you think a 1978 T/A would be worth with new paint, interior and numbers matching? It is now black/gold instead of factory colors but has factory A/C, rear window defogger, custom interior that has been changed, and the correct 400 auto in it. Just curious, looks like prices are going up on these cars.

Buyers market, under 10K IMO.It has the good engine, but they made boatloads of them and the color change doesn't help.Nice unrestored L78/M21 examples fetch between 15-25k depending on mileage.

I agree, the later 2nd gens just aren't bringing the big dollars yet ... they are going up but I predict they'll go higher as the years pass.

I still think the clean low mile 3rd gen GTA's are a great bargain still.

slappers with lots wrong, or missing this or that are selling for 8k and down,

nice correct cars are 12,15 K, depending on options and miles these cars are nicely maintained originals or some are restos at that number.

last I looked there was a bajillion of them for sale...bad for me
