Recently another american classic drive-in restaurant has closed. The Penguin Drive In Restaurant in Manitowoc, WI celebrated 60 years this summer and now it's closed. Every Thursday night during the summer they had a cruise-in and
it was a blast...now they are using the lot for a Christmas tree sale.
Wish I had a pic of it at night with the neon lights and flashing bulbs, but now I just got a day shot with Christmas trees being put up...depressing.

To me this is NOT progress. A historic site should be preserved.
