Default temp gauge problem..

Having some trouble with a mech. temp gauge(summit unit) that is in black auto car...worked fine and now it hardly moves the needle...I checked the sensor at the block..looked ok...no major kinks in the cap. tube....any thoughts...?????

Probably a crack in the capillary tube somewhere... Advice would be to toss it and buy another. Better yet, toss ALL the Summit gauges and get a nice set of vintage SW's or Suns.
