Default Need help on the Mist Green LS-6

As many of you know, Chad bought the Mist Green LS-6. We are having to do a complete frame off on this car as the previous owner sand blasted the entire pan and frame of the car while assembled. In doing so, all the original patina and detail was lost. However, along with many depressing finds, there was at least one priceless find while taking the car apart so all was not lost.

I have several photos tonight such as the one posted and am amazed at the detail and have learned some new things about Arlington cars and how they were painted. If anyone has original photos taken of this car from car shows or from other areas that show up close detail, I would be very interested in them and will pay a reasonable fee to obtain them. What I am most interested in are shots of the chassis, rear wheel wells, engine and trunk. I do not need any body or interior shots. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that we can restore this 4?00 mile car back to it's original appearance. The originality and survivor history are lost but hopefully we will be able to replicate what once was in every detail.

Thank you in advance.
Rick and Chad

I know where there's another unrestored Arlington car.

The really odd thing is that yours is mostly black on the belly pan from what I recall unless I am incorrect. I don't quite understand. I will be calling you soon as I found some interesting things on this car and I would like to pick your brain.

But how do you know it was not restored before you owned it?
