Default Calling All Corvette Experts

Will be looking at a 67 Vette convertible this evening that is supposedly an unavailable color comb: silver, red guts. It was restored about 6 yrs ago but is getting a repaint due to a Harley falling into it. Supposedly original drivetrain, A/C, 327/350 horse, headrests, doesn't have the origial carb, alt, a/c compressor. The original alt and compressor convey with the car. Unknown if there is any documentation and I don't know how long the current owner has had it. I just got a quick peek at it but the interior and eng bay need some attention. I will take some pics and will be asking the Vette Experts what it's worth. The price I was quoted seems very reasonable but I don't know my Corvettes. The shop owner it's currently in did the restoration and claims the trim tag has never been off the car. He says 11 cars were built in this color combo according to his sources. If someone (like TimG or Charlie) is willing to look at pics of the trim tag when I get them please PM me.
thanks in advance

Sounds great...hope things go well!.

Being a '67 and previously restored you'd expect someone would've rescued the build sheet from the top of the tank already...first year for this being a possiblility..

I think Trim Tags through these years of Vettes when special paint could show a unique paint code number or 'SPEC' also sometimes PRIME was used and dealer painted...I don't think they were using the -- like Camaros but could be wrong?.

Alright, got a look at the car to include some pics, it was getting dark and I didn't get that great of pics. Good thing is the car is only about 15 mins away so I can always go back. Coming up first is the vin:

I decode it as
1= Chebbie
94=Stingray
67=2dr Convertible
7=Year
??=plant
111510=Sequence #
I can't make out the 7th number in the pics and I didn't write down what I saw with the Mark 1 eyeball. What I can see in the picture looks like a 9 which doesn't make sense to me.

Next up is the stamp pad:

Not sure what the first digit is of the partial vin, could be a A or a 4 or maybe even a 7. An A for the A.O. Smith plant followed by the sequence number?

Looks like the engine suffix code is: V0213HP

V=?? Flint engine plant?
02= Feb
13=13 day of month
HP=327/350hp

Here's the TT:

Here's how I break it down:

G13=Feb 13
Style 67 = 1967
467 = huh? should be 867 according to Colvin's
A-1304 = A.O. Smith and the body sequence number
Trim 408 = Red/Leather
986 Paint = Silver

Red/Leather was available in 67
Silver was available in 67

Red/Leather + Silver was not available in 67

Thats all for now. If anyone has an opinion, good or bad I'm all ears. I still haven't talked to the owner but intend to. Not sure if he has any paper on the car. He apparently has a magazine article from years past explaining there were 11 cars built with this color combination via COPO channels. I will get my hands on the article in a few days hopefully. Let me know what specifics I need to look into in regards to the car. Thanks.

Although red interior is not shown as a GM recomended color in conjunction with silver exterior during this year. There is absolutely no records at this time to substantiate a number for this combination, a guess is all that is possible, and without a survey for combination being taken for several years, it probably is a wild guess at that.
