I have an ad in the wanted section for a blue deluxe steering wheel and I got to thinking...
Is an original blue wheel made with blue plastic or is it painted blue? If so, is the paint/dye still available so I could change the color of a black wheel? Thanks! |

I have a deluxe blue wheel from a 67 interior.....It shows a goldish color showning where the blue is worn..I know this wheel has never been replaced or painted.I pulled it from a 100% orig. 67 convert...I may be able to get you a picture if it will help....

I just had another person tell me that the original blue wheels were made with blue plastic.
I wonder if some were painted at the factory? |

I have had two blue wheels and they were solid blue to the bone. |
