Woj-
I understand your car is a low mileage black/red guts 4-spd and totally unrestored-sounds like you and mockingbird are playing in the same ballpark

A few less horse-power than Sam's 69, but hopefully as interesting. I was going to take the 69 Malibu tomorrow, but Steve (68L30) convinced me to take the 69 SS (I should take it out more than once per year anyway).

I hooked up with a few of the Power Tour Cruiser's tonight and was very impressed with the cars and enthusiasm. Should be fun tomorrow at the IX Center. I encourage anyone in the area to join in. Show tomorrow, cruise on Sunday.

Well the show itself was very nice. I heard somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000 cars showed up for the Saturday show. The weather was very warm and unseasonable for Cleveland this time of year. We baked in the sun!! The only disappointment was the registration set up. I felt it was unorganized. They had pre-registered vehicles and non pre-registered vehicles forming in the same line. As you pulled in you had to wait in a single file line and as you got closer to the main gate a show employee stated that non pre registered vehicles had to park off in a side parking lot, leaving the line you were already in. Then you had to exit your vehicle, walk to the registration tent and register, then walk back to your vehicle and get back into the same single file line with other pre-registered cars. I felt it was a cluster f!@#. We were even there at 9:00 am and the show did not officially start until 12:00 noon. I guess sometimes thats the way it goes with a large show... Despite this we had a good time!!
