Nice pix Mike. I'm hoping to make it to Solon tomorrow night if I can get out of work in time. Tomorrow is my only shot at Solon until August. Boardman looks like a great cruise spot. Might have to check it out one of these days.

Phil Woj.

PS. For those of you that haven't seen Mike's 69 Camaro, it is an absolute treat to the eyes. A true work of art.

Great pix Mike. My Dad lives in Boardman. I remember when the Southern Park Mall went up (one of the 1st by Ed DiBartlo) way back when. Good to see the "Canfield Speedway" sign too. I grew up in Canfield and sold "pop" in the Grandstands for some of the race events at the Fair each year. Your Camaro looks deadly. Sure would be nice to get it and my Chevelle together.

Good memory Mike - I just saw yr comment: "Sam, are you there?"

Wish I was. Looked like those North Eastern Ohioians have some sweet iron!!! Went thru there in March and did some visiting.

Sam
I tried to get a shot of the Canfield sign on the way over on 224 but the digital camera did not like the windshield.
It is amazing the the number of quality cars here in NEO, and then there is the Columbus area. We have to really overdose the car thing between June and October.
And then there is the Detroit Dream Cruise, everyone should see that once. I bet Detroit leeds the pack in the number of great cars in a given area.
Maybe my wife will make go back out to Scottsdale again this winter ??
I loved the the Pavilions cruise.

Is that white Chevy II the one from Columbus that was built by Dave McGaffy? If so, that car was on the cover of of Hot Rod five or six years ago. Built as a tribute to Grumpy, it would run in the 10's and drive on the street.
Awesum ride.

Mike - appreciate the effort wrt taking a snap shot of the Canfield sign. I stopped thru Canfield in March and visited with and introduced my 16 y.o. boy to my 8th grade History teacher at my ol' Middle School who still has the 1st job he ever landed.

"My buddies 69Z that I restored about 8 years ago, sold new at Marv Minneman Chevrolet, now Greenwood Chevy " How did their jingle go?.... Something like: Get the groove, join the move, to young Marv Minneman Cheverolet! That brings back memories. They sold quite a few hi po Chevys including some sYc's!

Wow, thanks for the picturs. I remember cruisin' Boardman years ago at the A&W, especially when the Hot Rod Supernationals were at the Canfield fairgrounds. The Boardman area was always much better than the Supernational's event.

The Canfield/Boardman area of Ohio certainly has some of the nicest/largest car cruises that I've ever seen.
