Default Floyd Garrett 70 Motion Camaro?

I saw a picture of what looks like a 70 Motion Camaro at his museum. Anyone have pictures of it? Looks to be Forest Green. Also, it looks like there is a Mulsanne Blue 70 SS Camaro there as well. Anyone know details on that one??

Wondering if it might be the one that was at SCR2...Owned by Mark Timken and restored by Scott Tiemann... Haven't seen the car in years... Mark used to spank my as$ frequently on ebay back then for Motion stuff... back when there was still good stuff to be had and only a few guys looking for it.

In any case, the car was the best Motion resto I had seen to date.

There was a nice story covering this car in the May 2006 Car Collector Magazine; it was on the cover. The article reports that this car is loaded with just about every availible Motion option and it was once in Joel Rosen's personal collection. What a car!

Yes, I believe Mark Timken still owns the car. Any way to post the article?

1970 ½ Baldwin/Motion Phase III 454 Camaro
On the cover: When muscle cars roamed America by Paul Zazarine introduces us to the Baldwin/ Motion Phase III 1970 ½ Camaro. Featured inside is a rare original 1961 Buick Invicta, the Inaugural New York City Concours, by Andy Marks and what’s new in Car Care by Donna Lombardo Continued coverage also includes Resto on the Fly and Auction Forum by Rick Carey.

May 2006 Page: cover

There was a time when muscle cars roamed the boulevards of America. These snarling performance cars were powered by big cube engines and were adorned with names like GTO, Road Runner, Gran Sport, and Super Bee. Under their scooped hoods were Hemis, Ram Airs, Six Packs, and Turbo Jets, each displacing more than 400 cubic inches. They were Detroit’s hottest cars, but they weren’t the meanest machines on the street.

That honor went to the cars built and sold by Baldwin/Motion, a small combine located in Baldwin, Long Island, New York. The Motion side of the partnership was the genius of a Brooklyn engine builder named Joel Rosen. Rosen had built a reputation as a superb engine builder and dyno tuner. In 1966 he moved his operation to Baldwin and teamed up with Baldwin Chevrolet to form a partnership that would sell and modify what are now considered legends.

The Mulsanne Blue 70 SS Camaro is a Berger 454 LS6 transplant car currently owned by Matt Murphy of GMMG. There was a good article about that car a few months back in a mag too, Super Chevy I believe.

I'm pretty sure Matt sold the car about a year ago.

I saw that Motion car personally when it was owned by Joel and the resto begun on Long Island a bunch of years ago, guess it ended up at Tiemans shop to be finished

Here is a link to the 70 Berger 454 Camaro that Matt Murphy once owned. It remains in the Atlanta area. http://www.atlantamusclecars.com/Ber...%20Camaro.html
