Default 3916323 block

My Car and parts catalog states that the 323 block is used on 68 chevelle, camaro,Nova. and passenger cars.
So If that is the case, then Is this enjine

1967 396/375 hp L78 motor 323 standard MQ block, 840 heads, 6223 steel crank,
Block - 323
T0630MQ 7N252510, E-18-7
Heads - 840
E-18-7 (both)
Is May 18 1967 too early for a 1968 car???
Did GM use the 323 block on Chevelles in 1967

I have owned two 67 L78's one in a camaro and one in a chevelle. Both were late production chevelle 7c engine 7/3 assembly and the camaro built 7b with a 6/30 assembly date(my car was 88 cars later). Both were cast E 8 7 and I know of several others 323 MQ coded engines with E 8 7 casting dates.
