Default Edelbrock X-C96 intake

I was thinking of putting this in my Corvette project-car and wonder in which rpm-range it works best. I want to choose the right cam, rearend-ratio etc.

It also seems to be too high and wide for the L88-type hood I have. Is there any aftermarket hood, that doesn´t look too wild, that could be used ?

Default Re: Edelbrock X-C96 intake

I have one on my wifes 68 camaro, not sure of the RPM range, but we have a 4" rise hood and the only air cleaner we can fit on it is the air cleaner top from K&N
