Default What's up with John Schneider?

Looked to see if it was mentioned here but didn't find anything.

Anyone else cringe when he got up on the roof of the General Lee. You could see in the various shots that the metal was flexing all over the place. I couldn't believe it. If I was planning on bidding on that car I would have thrown my shoe at him.

I was wondering if he wasn't drunk or something; seemed kind of odd that he would climb onto the roof of the car and then break out into song.

Looked like he was at least trying to stand over the roll cage, otherwise he would've landed on his ass when the roof caved in.
You reallly think he was drunk?

Yep, all part of the extravagant conspicuous-consumption entertainment spectacle that is B-J. I thought he might have thrown-out his back jumping in trough the driver's side. Gotta watch it when you get older jumping around with young girls and Dodge Chargers.

He now has a role on Nip/Tuck on FX. He is a porn producer named Ram. Quite a 180* from Jonathan Kent on Smallville.

About a year ago, just before his eBay ad,John Schneider was a guest on WGN news here.
The reporter,Dean Richards, was given permission to jump in the drivers seat ala Bo Duke style of Johns personal General Lee,after watching John do it himself.
He got a running start, with John watching, and ran up to the drivers side rear window, where he reached his arm out & flung his lower torso into the seat...It wasn't very graceful for the middle aged portly reporter and he never made it all the way in.
But he forgot he had his portable microphone pocketpack on,and put one Major dent/scratch in the cars rear C pilar deck area there. You could hear a metallic pound on camera..
The reporter was embarassed to say the least,as it was live, and John was clearly upset.
He stood there silent rubbing it with his hand, saying HOLYSH**.
They went to commercial, and when they came back,John was nowhere in sight.
The reporter said he would pay for the damage.
2 weeks later the reporter reported a bill arrived for $7,500.00 for the small dent/scratch damage that,as he put it,HE had caused.
Now HE was upset.
