This car is locally located and might be of interest to some of the people that frequent the site. Nope, not my car.
![]() "This car was one of 10 by Dick Harrell with the full Phase III treatment. 2 made in this color. It had a special grind cam that Dick Harrell came up with. The Stinger hood. The wheels were called "Stripped" by Dick Harrell by Kelsey Hayes in Detroit. Only these cars had these wheels. Accel Ign & wires. Sun tach. Stewart Warner gauges under the dash. Dick Harrell Badging on the hood and rear deck, valve covers. This car is correct down to the tires. This car was put on the rotisserie and owned and restored by Dick Harrell's best friend and right hand man Rick Lenane. Rick worked at Dick Harrell's place and was a member of the Drag team." Asking $160K. Has an affidavit from Rick Lenane. Contact is Ken at [email protected]. (734)547-6200 ![]() |

This car has been discussed here and other sites a few times. There is no proof that it is a Harrell car. It was listed for sale on this site 3 or 4 times a few years ago. Every time it was listed the story was different. Below is a link to the last time is was discussed here.

[ QUOTE ]
Every time it was listed the story was different. [/ QUOTE ] Really? What is different between the original ad, https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...fpart/all/vc/1, and this ad? My notes from when the car was for sale here and on ebay (end of 02, spring of 03) matches the seller's description above. Here's some of my notes: Rick was 2nd owner, found it in Kansas City w/o the 427, installed a 396. Drilled for roll cage, not installed. 9/06 - now has 427. Original axle. I didn't have any input into the seller's decription, I just posted what he wrote. |
