No, thanks Rick and everyone else who helped get my post on this board. I'm humbled considering the people and machines that occupy this real estate.

I do feel kind of unique being that I'm possibly the only Pontiac here and, most likely, the only Firebird.

Thanks again everyone.

I will do. I'm glad to see that I'm not alone. FYI, one of the great nostalgia events occurs this weekend in Northern California, the Vintage TransAm Racing weekend at Infineon Raceway. There are two cars entered like mine,.including Ken Miles old #92. Check out the link.

Here is a trip down memory lane. When I was in high school in the Fresno area. A girl that attended Clovis High school used to drive this car to school every day. Her dad bought the car at a auction and took out the muncie M-22 and put in a turbo 400 to make it more driver friendly. It was a neat car back then and I am sure its still in great condition now.

Journeyman:

You're quite correct. The Real Estate agent had the car for about a year, although, I thought he bought it from Tom Senter's estate. The agent wanted his daughter to drive it but thought better of it after awhile because of the engine, etc. He sold the car to Tom Gejian, the Fresno farmer, who soon put it in the barn from whence I bought it.

I was going off of memory from a very long time ago, so I might be wrong about the auction part. But I do remember the daughter and how I thought she had one of the neatest cars in town at the time. You know its a shame, if I saw her today, I would not recognize her but I could find the Tirebird in a crowded parking lot at any time.
