1967 Corvette Stampings - Opinions
Looking at buying a 1967 L-71 Corvette and would appreciate input on the transmission and engine pad stamps. These are the only photos I have available at this time. The trim tag shows a December 14, 1966 assembly date. I appreciate the photos are not ideal and the pad/stamp examination will require more time and attention.

You're looking at buying one of the most forged vehicles out there, the 1967 435 horse Corvette. Be very, very cautious. Does this Corvette have any paperwork?
Did I mention to be very, very cautious? |

LOL. Tim the car was originally sold in Canada and has Canadian paperwork issued by GM Canada Vintage Vehicle Services so I'm not concerned so much about how the car left the factory, rather more about its stamps.

Photos are insufficient to make a judgement. PM me for further details if needed.

Canadian docs show options in '67? Can you post a picture of them?

Yes they do. If I purchase the car I will post the GM Canada doc. As the document is not (yet) mine to post it will have to wait.

Lloyd, you should get Al Grenning (CCAS) to authenticate the pad, he is the leading authority on Corvette engine pads .
