Oer 1969 camaro deluxe door panel hits window adjustment stud
I have a pair of oer 69 Camaro Deluxe door panels. The doors themselves are original to the car as well as the glass adjustment studs. I put the Clips in the sides of the panels and go to install the deluxe oer panel. The three Clips on the inside of the car where the panel rests against the kick panel insert fine but when I go to push in the three Clips on the outside of the panel closest to the door latch the door panel will not sit flat. Upon further inspection the adjustment screw for the lower track is hitting the door panel. Any suggestions as to how to fix this without cutting the stud

Does your glass line up correctly in the openings?
Are the doors GM or REPRODUCTION? Did you check your original door panels with the REPRO's SIDE BY SIDE to see if there is a recess or something different? I always check side by side CLOSELY to determine if the parts are EXACTLY the same.

Yeah my glass lines up great. They are repo panels and I'm not quite sure how they're supposed to fit. I ended up cutting off the end of that stud And re applying the slot. I still had to die grind the back of the panel though because the panel still hit the nut. These all we are panels are nothing but a nightmare

Repo deluxe panels are terrible and made of a hard plastic backing, where as the orig have a cardboard like backing that is more molded to the door itself.I would try to find nice originals.
