Did you call Tommy Mathison in Wisconsin? He does "perfect" repops.

Re: 1969 Original Brake Hoses
Tommy does a beautiful job but, his are current DOT double crimp ends. I'm looking for original single crimp ends. It's an easily noticeable difference. We can get into a long winded discussion about safety and all that. I agree, if driving is your thing, Tommy's would be the perfect middle ground
If anyone has originals, I would appreciate a chance to buy them. Thanks, Mark

Re: 1969 Original Brake Hoses
Sounds like Mark wants the assembly line correct crimped ends that used totally different tooling to attach the hose to the ends besides the correct Part I.D. and date code information.
Tommy's hoses have the correct style and color printing but not the correct style ends that I believe Mark's looking for. I looked into making my own reproduction hoses but hit a wall trying to find someone who could replicate the original style crimped ends . Every hose manufacturer that I talked to wouldn't even consider trying to replicate the long single style crimp as it's no longer DOT compliant. Chris |

Re: 1969 Original Brake Hoses
I have correctly re-stenciled vintage NOS single crimp hoses in the past. If you need something light put on your original hoses, I can certainly help you out with that.

Re: 1969 Original Brake Hoses
Chuck,
Tell me what it takes to motivate you to get the wrench. Thanks for the radiator. I took the return label, with your name on it, over to Rupp and sold it for $1,000.00 C-A-T-S cats cats cats Mark
