Default 1970 Chevelle SS 396 Survivor w/6,200 Original Miles

I am helping a local older gentleman, who was just diagnosed with ALS, sell this incredible True Survivor 1970 Chevelle SS 396-350 HP, silver w/black stripes & bucket seat interior with 100% original born with engine, paint, interior and all 5 original General 700 BIA/BELT tires, the spare tire is NOS & has never been take out, the trunk area is incredible as well as the black bucket seat interior. All the original dealer paperwork is included, the car was ordered new from Campbell Chevrolet in Dornsife, PA on 9/22/1969 and delivered on 12/6/1969. The original wanted to street race the car with his friends, so before he took delivery, he had the dealer remove the 3.31 gears and install a set of 4.10's, the original 3.31 gears come with the car, all of this is hand written on one of the invoices. The original assembly line General tires have approximately 50 miles on them, he removed them and installed the oversized tires and aluminum slot wheels, unfortunately, the aftermarket wheels & tires are not available.
I have known this car & original owner for many years and have seen this car in person many times and it was always kept covered with 3 car covers. Approximately 5 years ago, the original owner did sell the car to the current 2nd owner who is 74 years old, he does not have the car covered in its current environment, so it is dusty & needs a careful cleaning.
For more information, you need to PM me or call me privately anytime from 6 AM to 11 PM EST. I only have a few photo's to share here that I did take from my iPhone on Sunday Oct. 8, so I want to apologize upfront for the pics probably showing upside down or sideways.
Jeff 717-three, four, eight, twenty four, twenty four.
The car is being advertised here only at $119,000

This is the holy grail of Chevelles to me. Very tempting.

Sorry to hear of the owner's ALS diagnosis. Several years ago I bought a 63 Corvette 340 coupe from a gentleman who was diagnosed with ALS. He was in the process of unraveling his affairs while he was still able. I bought the car cheap just because he liked me. We forged a relationship and remained connected he following 6 months until he passed away. Having experienced that, I cannot imagine a worse way to go. Prayers to the Chevelle owner and his family.

Sad to hear of another person with ALS. I had a friend pass from this many years ago too.
Seems he left the hood open while sitting too. Very dusty now and even inside the air cleaner.
Someone needs to buy this at this price, who will keep and drive it before a flipper gets their hands on it for profit.

Certainly worth the asking price and what a beautiful original car. Sorry to hear of the circumstances surrounding the sale and your friend. That is a unique way to hold the TCS relay onto the gutter, I have never seen that before. Love those tires!

----Rick,,,,I have only ever seen one other Chevelle with that relay held on like that I can remember and I owned it. That car was the most heavily optioned SS 454/360 T-400 convertable I had ever seen. Bet there are others out there though....Bill S

Would that happen to be this car? The TCS relay is currently held on with a bolt but is the highest optioned LS5 auto convert I have ever come across with documentation.

----Rick,,,Mine was black on black with a white top. Because I planned on keeping it forever I restored it to Pewter Silver (72 GM color) with white stripes. Eventually after a number of years of enjoyment I sold it to finance an embroidery machine which started Jan's business and our relationship with Bloomington Gold which lasted 20 years. Someone on this sight posted a pic of it in pewter at Indy (had 8 inch knock off wheels and Goodyear Wingfoots on it....Bill S
