Default Camaro Subframe bushings replacement - Help needed

Hallo, everyone. I wonder if you could give me some help.
I need to replace the bushings of my 73 and 74 Camaro sub frame. I have no intention to make it by myself, of course! This is far beyond my capabilities. But, as always, I like to know a little about what someone will have to do in my car.
I have searched the web and what I get is a wide range of opinions. Also, the repair guides I have don’t say a word about it (Haynes, mostly) and that’s not ok for me! A guy I know even told me this is a very dangerous process (!), with extreme risk for the car windshield (!!) and for who is working on it (!!!). Wow!
So, I wonder if you had any experience replacing the bushes and if you know about a step by step guide for it, somewhere out there.
Thanks,
Nikollas.

I have replaced subframe bushings in both 69 and 70 Camaros before. Floor jack and one side at a time (as to not throw off the subframe alignment) gently worked fine for me. Then when your done have a nice cold chopp.

Having spent a bit of time in Brasil I got very familiar with the term "chopp" which is indeed a beer or draft.
