Default Hawaii 67 RS/Z28 find

Went and looked at this one today. engine and tranny are not org but the cowl tag shows its a RS/Z if your wondering about the blue tint on the firewall and around the cowl tag, the engine compartment was powder coated blue years ago

Guy was looking to trade for a decent daily driver 69 SS. This 67 would need a restoration as its been painted black and has been sitting on stands for the last 2 years at its current location and about 10 years at a prior location. What would the odds be that there were 2 67 RS/Z28s in Hawaii at the same time both being Royal Plum some of which shows after the lower rocker molding. The other Royal Plum car in the magazine article was said to be the only 67 RS/Z in that color known, Not anymore

Actually, it wasn't the only Plum RS Z even before this car was found

My dad has a MO 302 in his 67 RS convertible on the Big Island. I do not think I ever checked to see if it was a 67 or 68. I will let you know but it may be awhile. I will have to talk him into "digging" it out.
