I have what I think is an original push-on SS wheel center cap taken off an original unrestored AO wheel I purchased from one of the members here. The part number on the cap is P.T. 3983324 but doing a search for these caps says the number is 3983323. Was there more than one number? This is the 1/4" deep cap.

Jim,
I sold a NOS set of the 3938323 caps a while back and they were the shallower snap in caps. Can't tell you what the number on the deep snap in caps is but the shallow bolt in cap # is 3956770 if that will help you eliminate some of the possibilities.

The casting number and actual part number are not always the same. I have some NOS deep inset snap in caps, I'll check the part number tomorrow evening.
