Motion Bar B Que
Neighbors having a big party today so I was not surprised to see grill/smoker show up on it's own trailer today.
 The guy running the operation comes up my driveway when he sees my Chevelle(with a MoTioN sticker on rear window) and blurts out "I had a 70 1/2 Motion Camaro" his name is Joey Dee and he says it was green with the white stripe on the side and an L88 hood. It was not an RS but an SS 350 originally and had a one piece front bumper. He bought it from a bank in 1972 with a blown motor and raced it until 1976. The drivetrain was parted out and the rolling body sold to an "old guy" in Staten Island that he believes still has the car!!?? He ran a race shop in Bohemia LI up til the mid nineties and is a welder by trade. He built the rolling smoker grill.   I gave him a few pieces of designer cherry for his smoker in trade for a tray of ribs and chicken.   Anyone ever hear of him or the car? I'll send him a link to the post and welcome him onboard.

Joey emailed me that the car was green with flames when he raced it and he'll look for a picture.
