Mass. Title search help ? Prior owners of my 67Z??

I have had no luck finding the prior owner of my 67 Camaro from 2002...his name is William R Wessels from Shirley Mass.....but the title from when he bought the car has the prior title number from when the owner before him bought the car. Does anyone have any idea how I can get prior title info. or better yet have a connection at Massachusetts DMV to look up a previous title info?? I believe my car was wrecked in the front early in life and probably sat for years, so I'm hoping there were not many owners and that I may get lucky tracing back prior owners.

If I my ask, what color is this car and is it an rs? Was a 67 Z in my home town in the mid 70's that was for sale. Phil

hey Phil, just noticed your post...the car is white/w black stripes...base Z-car with only option being the ultra-rare shoulder belts..no tach, no console...shows 17k miles..seems original based on original interior and panels...and it apparently was a cowl plenum car also.

BTW..the story goes that this car was listed for sale for $1000 in the local paper up that way I believe about 2002..and after a buyer already made the deal for the car, the guy I bought the car from showed up and realized it was a Z, so he made a deal with the new buyer to trade his later year vette. I think it was a 1980 or something like that...I forget exactly the details, but something like that. Does anyone remember my car? This was probably around 2002 or so. Thanks, Max

Yep, I remember it. From what I remember, he bought it for $1,000 and flipped it for $8,000 or $9,000. Then that guy offered it to me for $18K in around 2004 or so???????? I probably have the emails on my other computer...
