Default Car & Bike Show 5/30/2010

These are pics from the 1st Annual Doin' It 4 Dickie Benefit Show for local Cruiser Dickie Sills (I think that's his last name). And being that it was a 1st time show, the organization/coordination was not the best and participants experienced some weirdness. Anyway, quite a few cruisers came out to this show. As you can tell, the weather was picture perfect!

The show was held at Chesapeake Harley in Darlington, MD

The beloved plastic! These were awarded by popular vote, but you had to by tickets for each vote.

I drove this into the show lot, but I forgot to push the horn button!

Thanks for letting me drive it Tom!

Cars were first parked in this area

This is the first part of the weirdness. Participants started arriving around 8 AM. Registration did not start until 10 AM, and they took a hard line stance on this, NO ONE could register early. This was the result, a long line of people waiting to register.

Bob and Gary are happy because they are HALF WAY through registration. First you paid, then you filled out a form, then you went to another table to hand in this form for your vehicle show card, which someone had to fill out.

While everyone was registering, I took some pic. Didn't have a car there anyway!
