I have been talking with Skuli over his purchase in Iceland for a couple of days. What a shame. I have offered him our services here and privately if he ever wanted help in locating another muscle car as we have reputable dealers, authenticators and inspectors amongst us. Very nice guy and feel bad that he was taken advantage of even though he bares some of the responsibility for not having it inspected even though he was lied to with all his questions. He has been overwhelmed by the great responses of the general American public.

Good luck suing. It would likely be way too costly being oversees. He has already tried negotiating with them on some recourse and they more or less told him to get screwed. I think this dealer will likely suffer far more in the long run over bad press as they should. These days it is all about customer service.

I just received this from Skuli. Hopefully the realized how damaging poor customer service can be!

"Rick.

The owner of Legends just sent me a letter of apologize and is offering to compensate me for the losses, by paying the $xxxx I claimed in the beginning. I am a honest man and will accept that and stop the video. I will let you know if and when this is done. I will stop the video as soon as he confirms this in a separate letter.

This is all to do with you guy´s over there. I don't know how to thank you all. Can you spread the word for me and thank the whole community of honest classic car lovers?"

Regards,

Skúli K.

That is just great. Nice job Rick et al.!!

Good on Skuli to use modern multimedia (youtube) to get his word out there. What a GREAT idea.

Congrats all around.

BTW, not all Indiana, PA cars are rust buckets - there are exceptions (see signature block below)

Good on you Rick!

I'd advise him to not take the video down until payment has been received though....
