Default Something for the Nova Lover's

This is a 1-owner 71 SS 350 4-speed bought new at Rufe Chevrolet in Carlisle, PA. The car is black with a black hat and I believe it is saddle interior or buckskin? The car has had 1 repaint with I believe 60k org miles and has a few day-2 mods. The org owner is in his late 60's and still enjoys going to local shows. Please don't ask if the car could be bought, I tried that, it is willed to his son, although, he did tell me that his son would probably sell it, he has no interest in cars.

Even if I had no interest in cars I think I would learn quickly having this car. That is a very nice car.

Sam, I could spend hours talking about 1-owner cars here locally, I just talked to another local older gentlemen near Carlisle who is 62 and still has his 66 SS Chevelle 325 H.P., 4-speed w/14k org miles, Marina Blue all org down to the tires. I am going to meet up with him soon to take some pics of the car and possibly drool over it. Also another older gentleman who has a 70 RS Z/28 w/13k org miles, white, black stripes, AT. The list goes on.

Marlin, The next time I see him I will ask about the rocker mldgs. This show was at the Giant Food's Warehouse in Carlisle, it's the 17th year, free registration with free food, you can't loose and yes they awarded free awards also.

Nice car - love the black w/ black v/t. Noticed the car has all 4 exterior moldings, I suspect the rocker moldings were added during the repaint since the second row is missing. Usually, all 4 moldings looks over done, but on an all black car it really looks nice!

Well Jeff, you live in a good area for that. Its a shame many of these cars will get handed down and sold quickly. Our 4 boys are really NOT car buffs either. Maybe our grandson will keep up his strong interest he has now for cars. That would burn my kids up if my will states all my car junk and cars goes to him. HAA!

I saw the father/son scenario first hand when I bought the first L78 car. The father gave the car to the son...when the old man passed away he couldn't wait to sell it

He wanted to build a race car and the Nova was the ticket to that show....3 years later he had seller's remorse and wanted it back

Anyway...once you're gone all bets are off
