My wife and I took a drive into Philadelphia today to visit the Simeone Auto Museum. I had heard about this museum after watching episodes of "What's My Car Worth" on Discovery.
Today the museum was having a "demo day" where they take 4 select cars out in the back lot and drive them around for everyone to see, hear and smell. Today's cars were an Allard, a Cunningham, one of the 5 Corvette Grand Sports and a Ford GT40. I thought I had taken videos of the demos drives but, they aren't on my camera for some reason so I can only share the pictures of the cars http://s570.photobucket.com/albums/s...Museum%202011/ If you ever have an opportunity to visit this museum I highly recommend it. The settings for the cars are beautiful, the cars are great and most of them appear to be unrestored. Overall a very enjoyable experience. |
