Are the number or percentage of Black Challengers known or published? Thanks for any info, Ed

I have them. What model is it?

Black tends to be MOR or rarer for muscle and pony cars.

The lovley photo that showed up prompts me to ask......

How many of the '70 RT/SE Hemi Coupes were triple black (if known by that breakdown)? One for sure - but are there more than that?

The photo i shared is in fact a 440 Six Pak car not a hemi but either way not many in triple Black especially if it is an S.E.

Here is another Triple Black beauty 440 6 pak R/T,
let me know if you guys want more 70 Challengers in black as i have a photo file of all the colors in stock.

Do you have photos of any triple black 70 Challengers with body colored steel wheels?

1.2% of US-spec base Challenger hardtops were black. That's roughly around 457 cars.

Please keep in mind this doesn't include Canadian and export cars. Likewise, you cannot figure out how many of those were 340 cars, or how many were built with black interior - all options have to be taken individually. Anyone combining options, except in rare cases, are using the statistics incorrectly. For example, sometimes you see FM3 Challenger T/As being 1 of 28, but you cannot combine the option of the color with the option of the T/A package; in fact, the T/A registry has more than 28 cars on file - substantially more!

EDIT: Those numbers posted above are for R/Ts, not the base Challenger which is what the 340 is based on.
