Default Follow up on the 69 find...

Called the Oldest paperwork owner this morning.
the car is an original hugger orange/ white stripe car.
Walt bought her from a serviceman headed to Vietnam.
It was original no chin spoiler/rear spoiler car he said. He added them on later
no console 3:73 rear end and m-21. in 72, the cam was wiped out, so they bought a counter exchange block from GM.
he said the car fell flat and never ran good. w/about 1000 miles on the new motor, they replaced the cam in the new short block.
the best part is....he has pictures of it from then!! He sending me pictures of it...
also, he knows the guy he sold it to, and will get in contact w/ him..
so, my lil orange hugger is real, and I can back up the motor issues too!

he was 23 at the time, so Id assume, it was just a car to him?
I will email him about the block. Who knows, it may be in his barn or something?
