I saw this article on another site regarding a Chevelle purchased at Bittermans. Looks like the owner have oriignal documentation forhis car. You may want to contact him for more info:

Thanks. Mones was the salesman who sold my '62 as well according to the original documents I have.

Thanks Paul. I followed up with the owner of that site and he has lost contact with the owner of the Chevelle. He did tell me that Mones had given an interview for the local newspaper in '75 when the dealership had changed names to Carole Chevrolet.

Are you referring to the window sticker? I can do that for you, but remember this is 1962, pre zip code.

Maybe my misunderstanding. If it's the Chevrolet emblem logo, I can do that for you.

I didn't see a window sticker but would very much appreciate a copy if you have one. Yes the logo on the dealer invoice top left if you wouldn't mind, thank you. I am working on some ads for Bitterman from the local Montclair Library, I'll send you anything I find.
