Default 1969 Lemans Blue Z28 Value

Hi! I am new to the forum. I just recently bought a very nice Z28 and just wanted to tell you a little about my car and get opinions from you as to what you all think the value may be. It is a really cool car. I have known about it for several years and the owner finally decided to sell. I am now the 4th owner and was able to track back ownership and speak to the 2nd owner that bought the car from a friend back in 1984. Here are the details.. It is 100% rust free with all original body panels. it is an X33 D80 car. It is coded 71 B which I found is Lemans Blue with a black vinyl top. The car has had 1 repaint. The vinyl top was removed and it now has white stripes. I am assuming the original stripe color would have been black with the black vinyl top?? It still retains 100% of its original black interior and it is near flawless. The drivetrain... engine(original DZ), trans, and rear is all numbers matching. It has its original carb, intake, distributor, pullies, etc. It does have a few minor modifications like headers, chrome hood latch, chrome oil pan, and chrome rear cover. All in All... a super clean totally rust free car with a super clean rock solid undercarriage. The paint is also near flawless. Ok guys..I already bought it because I love the car but educate me... Whats the current value according to my description? Thanks in advance for your help!

He is asking a legitimate uqestion. You need an actual market value for insurance purposes regardless of what you pay for a car. If he got it as a gift does that mean the insurance company covers it for $0 in value?

Congrats on the car. Lets see some photos!

Don't think he is asking for Ins. purposes. I think he is asking to see if he got a good deal or not. I think Plowman said it best!

You are correct. I am trying to see if I did get a decent deal on the car. I paid 50K for it. Just trying to see if you guys feel that was fair. I will try to get some pics posted here soon.
