X2, quiet idle, but roars with RPM!

Yes, Marlin turned me on to them. This is the best muffler system I ever had on a musclecar. As he stated, very quiet and docile at idle, but nail it and Mrs Jones will call the PD. Very nice trade off. the system has very little "drone effect" during normal driving and the quality is very good

I have used the Walker Corvair Turbo Charger mufflers (#21348 I think) and they worked well -- sounded even better. TAZ

That's what we used, "Back in the day"!

For something similar to the pypes racepro, check out AP xcelerator 18" stainless mufflers. Very nice quality and priced right (check ebay). This is the 3rd set of mufflers I've tried on my Chevy II, and I'm keeping them.

Pypes Race Pro for another vote. Only replaced my Walker Dynomax 'Hemi' Turbos after they were failing. The Race Pro's are actually quieter and flow better than the Street Pros.

I had the street pros and didn't like them. Then I tried the dynomax super turbos - still too much cabin drone on the highway. The AP xelerators (similar to racepro, dynomax ultraflo) are just right.
