Seems like a hell of a deal here for $52k. Amazing color combo and the VE3 is icing on the cake. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger but would have to unload something else to make room....
One of the nicest '69 Zs I can remember seeing on Ebay IMO. Look at those original white door panels for Chrissake...man. Link to 1969 Z/28 auction ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Seems cheap. I'm assuming now every time you see "Matching Numbers", people are talking about restamp's and not original drivetrain (especially engines)....

I hear you, but the seller does say "The car has its original drive line when it left the GM plant" which is pretty specific. |

Could be a nice deal… The stripes on the deck lid are completely wrong.
At their asking price you have to assume that you’re going to be spending more money than the initial purchase price to correct items of the cars including cosmetic and dated components.

The silver grill and Endura front bumper really adds to overall look of the car.
I've never seen a code 52 Z with Ivory interior- really nice combo. I had garnet red X33D80 Z/28 with red interior briefly in early 90's. should have hung on to that car. Question for those more experienced than myself: What are visual clues as to the door panels being original or reproduction? |

Today's vinyl has a thin layer of foam. The screws along the bottom of a repro std door panel sink into it a bit; looks puffy as seen here.
OE panels had old-school vinyl bonded to the substrate; no foam. The screws don't sink into the panel. |

The drivers side looks to have original door panel. The pass appears reproduction. William is the picture you're showing an enlarged picture of passenger panel on this car?

It is a passenger panel but not from this car.
