Wrong stripe color [should be black] should have 1st design rear spoiler and early headrests, ducted hood was added, missing Camaro emblem on upper grille panel. Front fenders fit poorly.

Headers, muffler shop exhaust, missing AIR system, aftermarket suspension mods, repro booster, incorrect alternator. Should not have trunk mat. Several painted or incorrect fasteners.

Not convinced that is the original engine. Never seen an early car [Sept ‘68] with the VIN stamp on the side. Pad needs to have paint removed. Like to see a better pic but window sticker looks real.

Window sticker probably is. Protect-O-Plates can be perfectly duplicated so I don't give them much credence these days.

So if the window sticker is real which it looks real to me as well, that would confirm it's an original Z correct?

First; no doubt in my mind that William has way more information and knowledge than I do. If William things it is original, then it probably is.

But, you have to wonder why it is so "aged". If in fact, someone cared enough about the original WS to remove carefully and save it (most got removed with a razor blade scraper and were destroyed), why would they have stored it in such a way that it ended up looking like this?

Would like to hear from KurtS on the engine stamp. Hard to tell with all the paint, but I don't like it. Like William said, doubt it would have had the partial stamped down by the oil filter.
