Scuncio was a full service dealer. This ad mentions the 427/425 HP cars but it is not clear if they were transplants or COPO. They sold a ZL1 so maybe they sold some 1969 COPO cars also.

I know they sold at least 1 L72 COPO. So they were in the loop on COPO's.
Be interesting to talk to Bob Johnson. ![]() Kurt

1973 Vegas had to be some of the quickest dealer built cars ever sold. If this Scuncio LT1 Vega wasn't enough you could have purchased a 1973 454 Motion Vega that was advertised as a 9 sec. street car.

Joe C, The Camaro in the ad you posted appears to be the same car/picture that is on the cover of the '69 Nickey catalog. Does there appear to be any emblem above the engine numbers? Are they 427 emblems? What really tips it off are the wheels. These look like the "official Nickey Camaro wheels" in '69. They were very distinctive, and also pretty obscure. I have searched high and low for some and found only one person who could even identify them. Is the use of this picture a coincidence, or did Scuncio have a relationship with Nickey? Anybody have any ideas?
