here" TARGET=_blank>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...856247&r=0&t=0 here</A> is one that this guy says is documented by joel rosen. i have no doubt that the car is worth something if it's a real and documented car, but a starting bid of $36k and thats below the reserve. what in the world might the reserve be. does anyone think that if i give him $50k maybe he'll throw in a milk crate so i can sit in it and daydream of 69? |

I understand that B/M Camaros are worth a considerable amount of money when restored but can this car be worth $36k (starting bid)?
I can not even imagine how much it would cost to restore!

Considering it is missing all the original drivetrain, it would take a minimum of $40-50,000 to do a concourse restoration. That is assuming that all the other parts for the car are there and in restorable shape. Research alone can run 100 plus hours to do this car. Locating parts including phone calls can easily run another 100 hours. Big Bucks!

I am not positive because this is from memory, but I think this car was for sale many months ago as a "possible" motion car. I called and asked what documents he had. He said he only had a NICB report showing it from Baldwin Chev. He added that he called NICB direct and NICB sent it to him as a private citizen. Anything is possible but I'd never heard of NICB sending a report to a private citizen. Only legal officials such as Police, FBI officers, etc, could get them. At that time he did not have any documents from Joel. The photo looks like the same photo in the prior ad. The car could have been purchased for less than $10K then. Again this is just from memory and not 100% positive, but it appears to be the same car. It would be important to verify any documents.

It is the same car and the same seller.
Obviously the value is increasing rapidly. ![]() In the original ad, he said it had an Olds axle. Now, he doesn't know if the 12 bolt is original. Hmmmm.
