If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, runs faster than a duck but is not an original duck and is 75k cheaper than an original duck... then is it a goose or a turkey?

LVCamaro, that is funny! The point I am trying to make is that I am thinking of making a deuce clone out of my 70 Nova, not to try to pass it off but to enjoy and pay tribute. I will however make sure it is faster. Thinking of a 502.

Let me get this straight...you are building a '70 Deuce "clone", yet going bigblock? Can I ask why? When I hear "Yenko Deuce", I instantly think "LT-1". Those LT-1s are pretty potent in their own right, just check out this Stock Appearing '70 COPO Nova clone that runs high 11s @ almost 118mph on redlines! Pretty cool...for a small block!

Rob, I'm guessing that car had a STRONG tailwind to run high elevens! I want to build a rat motor but love the look of the Yenko Deuce and since it is a 70...

Don't know about the tail wind, but he ran 11s on some lazy high 1.9 short times. Jim feels the car is good for 11.60s...
