Default Z-16 Question

Trying to determine ball-park market value of nicely restored, documented red/red Z-16 with original block and tranny. Any ideas?

Very difficult to determine this without more particulars or some pictures. I am by no means an expert on 65 Z's, but if it is a top notch car you are probably above the six figure bracket.

Just my $.02 worth.

I just wanted to say that I am happy to see a Z-16 thread on the site. I think that Z-16s are a great Super Car.

Hi guys its great to be back! I have missed posting on the board with all of you. I know that it is important to stay on topic ,but I cannot resist, Marlin made a "Goodfellas" reference and I just want to tell you that the latest episode of "The Sopranos" was filmed 10 minutes from my home. I drive past "White Caps" (the house Tony was going to buy),all of the time. The house is located in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

One of the most difficult things I get asked in e-mails and on BB's is the "what is this worth?" questions...so many things to factor...the big one is sometimes SUBJECTIVITY.....what you see is as nicely restored may not be the same as what I consider nicely Restored....also, photos, though they help, can hide soooo much, and seeing those waves down the side and the sound of the engine, and all those other things which only a IN PERSON Looksie can give ya...can't be had with pictures...

That said...given someone has a "NICELY RESTORED" documented Z-16 with orig. drivetrain.....hell...possibilities are all over the place....For sure, above the 100G's range,,,way above...IMO...but then BO KNEW BASEBALL, I know 66's Cars are worth what someone is willing to pay, and that varies from one person to another and even Regionality of the country sometimes.
