I noticed about an hour ago the high bidder on this car on Ebay was supercars. Check the bid history. Kevin. is that you? It is a rare one though, about 588 coupes and 12 convertibles built. Notice the D80 code on a pontiac is also a spoiler code.
Thanks, Motown http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...72140&rd=1

Not me. I would like a Ram Air IV TA or Judge though. Milton Robson always kids me: "what's the matter, don't you like them thar Pontiacs?", as he sees that I don't own one.

I believe these 69 T/A cars were Ram Air four, I think you can see the decal on the hood inthe photos.

Hey Motown, I always thought the '69 TA numbers were 689 coupes and 8 convertibles (no RAIV ragtops, 4 autos, 4 4spds), for a total of 697. Do you have newly found numbers that I should update my "database" with?

Tom, I was quoting those numbers from old memory, the 588 vs 689 was an easy mistake considering how many years ago I read that info, but I do believe it was 12 convertibles as my friend owns one, I will get with him to check and get back to you.
Thanks, Motown

I owned the second convertible built for about a dozen years. Sold it about 14 months ago. There were only eight built. Seven have been accounted for, with rumors for years that the 8th was in Canada.

Kevin,
My Brothers building a "whoop a$$" 55 BelAir for Milton right now, Milton came up after B-J to look at the paint. Have you ever been to Milton's and seen his collection? CWilliams Berger 56 Phase II

Yes, I've been to Milton's a few times. To his old place as well, which the Dealer Bob Johnson now owns and sells cars from. Milton's new house, property, car showroom is spectacular; something you'd see in the movie's. His car collection is real diverse right now; everything from Musclecars, street rods, old roadsters, and other unique one off cars.
