Default Need help with a new ZL1

I have a customer that just bought a silver ZL1. Not sure where he bought it for sure. He drove it 1600 miles, now he wants to trade it to me for a new Tahoe and some cash. This guy always has the latest and greatest, but wants to sell within days of purchase. What is the value of a car like this ? Thanks in advance.

Tom,

You didn't say whether it was a Phase I, Phase II or Phase III and whether it had any extra equipment such as a roll cage, line lock, houndstooth interior, etc.

Knowing these things would help detemine the value of it.

Also, out of curiousity, what number is it?

What do you mean by " he wants to sell within days of purchase". I thought he was trading it in?

Yes he would like to sell it. He feels his only way out through our dealership is through a trade. It is a phase 3 with the works. Red houndstooth. Like I said, this guy buys all the coolest cars and has never kept one more than a month, or so it seems. I've dealt with him for years. I'm probably not interested in this car for my inventory, but he will trade it somewhere. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The least expensive phase 3 ZL1 I have seen was just above $87,000. This was a black car which is the factory color of the B4Cs used for the conversion. So if it is painted one of the custom 1969 colors you need to add a few grand. I can't believe he wants to get rid of it already, what a shame. Shouldn't have bought it in the first place. OH Well

Ebay has been getting around 110 to 115 with out hitting the reserve. That is for a silver phase 3. To give you an idea what they can bring.

Sounds like he would likely need a LOT of cash along with the Tahoe

I have an idea - take it in trade, have Bud ship it to his house out west and I'll be happy to help keep the battery charged up for him
