Did any of the '69 Z/28's come with a TA tag(for Trans Am racing) from the factory, or is there any other way to verify a factory track car?
Thanks, Jim |

There are a couple of websites for Trans Am cars if you do a Yahoo search. As far as I know the closest factory car for Trans Am would be the Penske Donahue car, it was delivered "body in white" which is an unpainted shell but no specific "tag" to verify it as a T/A car from chevy. Most orig T/A cars got a tag attached to the rollcage to indicate they were SCCA legal and all real cars had log books. There are people on this site with way more info than this cause thats who I got most of the above from. Do a search here and on www.CAMAROS.NET under Trans Am and I'm sure something will pop up.
