Default NASCAR Mourns

As many of you may know, Rick Hendrick Motorsports experienced a fatal plane crash over the weekend. Lost are four direct family members as well as the head engine builder, Randy Dorton.

Doesn't matter if you love or hate his drivers Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, etc. A tragedy like this is never easy to swallow.

Your right Bob and for the life of me I don't understand why.

Dale Earnhardt's on-track death at Daytona in 2001 was a wake up call to Nascar. Since then, they have mandated many safety devices. Yet, how do you defence against a plane crash? I reckon only time will tell.

Yeah, that was very sad. I hate those small planes, although I'm sure the large jets aren't much safer.
