Default SC69SAM's 69 Z...

Bought in 2000 as a small project. Never owned a camaro before. Car came with original trans, rear and a 1970 LT1 motor in it. I located a November of 1968 block for it and began to build a real 302. Body and paint was done by a real good friend and long time drag racer and body man, Court Nelson. Motor and trans work was performed by Pete Suriano from Petes Automotive in Pottstown. While not a frame off there is extensive time and effort on many little things that I picked up from this site and read in Jerry MacNeishs book. Bob Harris and Craig at Camaro Specialities in Buffalo helped the project also. We as a family enjoy this car and usually make most of the local car shows. I prefer day-2 trim because that is how we always had our cars in the old days. I have all the correct componets to put this car in stock trim if desired. Have to also thank Don White for helping me achieve the Day-2 look with vintage NOS tires and wheel combinations, along with some good ideas. Everybody here has contributed to my cause. Car is fathom green with a dark green interior. Interior is all original except carpets and dash pad. 7000 rpm tach with a short spoiler. (No X codes). It is an 11D of 1968 car. Flat original hood.
Thanks!

Sam-- It has been a pleasure talking with you these past couple weeks especially. Have nothing but good things to say about you and your Camaro! Great Guy, Beautiful Car!

Sam-- Post some pictures of the car with the Drag 500 slicks! I drool when I see that one!

Sam your car is a great example of what you would see racing at Front St, back in the day. Very well done, with an awesome look.

You just can't beat Cragars, especially skinnies with ribbed front-runners.

Sam, now we need to see current pictures of your Z with the L60s out back and the Rallys.
