Default Yenko Estate Auction

Anybody from here go to this? Judging by some of the things that Tom, Brian and Joe have, they may have been there? You guys ringing up orders at the funeral home or the SCW on an old brass cash register?

I was there too. I found out about it from a friend in the area the evening before. I left my home in NJ at 3:00 AM and drove in a pouring rain storm all the way out the PA turnpike in my then new Impalla SS.

I remember meeting Donna Mae Mimms and John Connally who ran the event. I picked up some odds and ends and still today use Don's fountain pen that Vince Piggins gave him for his Birthday. It has a Bow Tie studded with a diamond and rubies.

I also picked up Christmas cards to Don from Zora Dontov among others, which I thought was cool. One of my favorites I received was a signed picture of James Garner and Don in the Sun Ray Corvette after the 24 hours of Daytona. I also picked up a bunch of other odds and ends that are cool to own.
