Did they have Thorstad emblems - or did they still use the Hult nameplate? I believe it was actually Thorstad in '67 or '68, but they didn't change the name till '70'ish??

I talked to a gentleman at Thorstad that has been there since the late '60s I think...he said he remembers selling quite a few Yenko cars himself back in the day! Anyway, he said they used to use a black & chrome emblem that was stuck on using double sided tape, and that the emblem was very similar to the ones they still use today...

I'm supposed to call him back about, I'll try and remember and run the whole Hult/Thorstad transition by him...

Rob,i believe Marlin is correct. I spoke to Tom Thorstad a while back and he told his granpa was C.J. Thorstad, who was on the list marlin sent me of N.H.R.A. Chevelles. I dont think his granpa, C.J.,ever owned the chevelle they were just trying to set up some more names to qualify for the N.H.R.A. Marlin knows alot more on this subject.

It was definitely still called Hult in May/June of '67. I had a '67 Z from there with the original bill of sale.
