New York State does not issue titles for vehicles older than 1972 or 73. Are there any other states that have this same policy? Is there anyplace online that tells which states have titles vs. registrations for pre '72 vehicles?
Thanks, Mike |

There used to be quite a few but most have gone over to titles even on older cars when they change hands. I have had a lot of NY, CA and other regi only cars that I brought into PA and coverted to titles. Never a problem.

in Indiana you have a title for the car and you get a registration when you get plates for it, so we have both.
