Iam not really into monte carlos so here is my thoughts. When u ordered the ls5 it automatically got the ss454 pkg with all the mldgs badges etc, this car is a wolf in sheeps clothing no badges etc ,they beefed up the orig ls3 eng with forgred 11:1 pistons, square ports and intake with a nice cam and 800 cfm holley m20 trans coupled to a 12 bolt with 410 gears and it looks like a plain ol monte carlo.

The LS-3 was a regular RPO in the 1970 Monte Carlo, but the 4:10 posi wasn't a possible RPO at all.
I too would like to see pix. Who are you saying beefed it up..the Factory, the Selling Dealership,or the Owners? Any paperwork to support if it's the first two? |
