Default Pics of my Ram Air II 1968 GTO

Here is a link to view pictures of my old Goat. POCI documented one of 757 Ram Air cars built in 1968. While modified, I built it so it would be easy to return to stock and retained all of the original pieces. I owned it for over 25 years and sold it to an good friend when I moved our family to FL from NJ. These pictures are 2 years old. I sold it to keep room for my Yenko in our new house.

Yep, it looks like it came straight outta' Car Craft "Cruisin' USA" c1981. (Before "correctness" took over and took much of the fun out of playing with musclecars.) Anyway, x 100!

Boy you guys are perceptive. Your right, the Car was featured in Car Craft Magazine May 1986, after I attended several Street Machine Nationals. I had a CC photo shoot after a night hanging out at the bar in Springfield, IL partying with Dick Moroso, Don Hampton (Hampton Blowers) Tim Marshall (Car Craft photographer). It helped get me in by getting to know those guys. The car was also featured in High Performance Pontiac and Auto Buff (but who was looking at the car). Thanks for your comments.

I agree...one of the original "Street Freaks"! Cool car

Bill Eaton (427TJ) has been looking for a CC Nats Circular decal forever...right Bill? Though he has something similar to this...now:

That's right Bruce! My car was never good enough to enter in the CC Nats so I never got one of those red ball "CC NATS" windshield decals. You came through on the others though and I plan to repay you real soon.

(Mine will have to be a Coke...)

"Cruisin' USA" forever!

Thank you for your nice comment. How did it hook? With 10.5" slicks, GREAT! On street tires, rubber, rubber, rubber, and rubber again.
