reality show? Just watched a couple episodes on A&E. It's called "Driving Force". Pretty cool to see his oldest daughter Ashley walking in her dad's footsteps. Has anybody else seen it?

John is an awesome guy (when he doesn't have to show off or play up to the cameras). Lynn, Holly and I met him a few years ago at the Checker, Schucks Kragen Nationals here in Phoenix through a friend of ours.
John is exceptional around children with special needs (as he had polio growing up). John took all three of us back to where his family was sitting (he lost in the first round) and introduced us to all of them. After offering us something to eat...he opened up a bunch of drawers on his rig and told Holly to pick out whatever she wanted...which she did. He then proceeded to autograph everything for her. Like I said...Awesome guy ![]()

<font color="blue">I have seen the first two episodes.
Even though I am a drag racer, it really hasn't got my attention. I don't know why, but outside of some of the video, the reality part does nothing for me at all. *** IMO *** ![]() ![]()

One of the things I like about John is his accessibility. Even with all the corporate demands on these guys, John seems to really care about the fans. If you've ever stuck around after an event, he seems to calm down and truly enjoy talking with them. We spent over an hour with him, Bernie, Austin and Jimmy Prock, sitting on the steps of John's coach after the 2004 Gateway Nationals. Like Bruce said, he was very generous with his time, his autographs and some 'collectibles'. We walked away with almost a dozen pieces; all signed by everyone there.
I taped the Monday night show but haven't taken the time to sit down and watch it yet. Maybe tonight.

![]() [/ QUOTE ] The show is, in part, about Force's incredible showman's personality, but it also seems to be about sex, as evidenced by the photo. If those were all boys this show might not have been made! Remember, almost all marketing is aimed squarely at the 18-34 male demographic (they spend money the fastest and with the least amount of consideration toward saving it). Therefore, fast cars and attractive women is the marketer's bread-and-butter. Now that the Coddington show has gotten stale I guess I'll switch to the Force show. Or I might just switch the damn TV off and pull the engine out of my Camaro. Yeah, that's the ticket! ![]() |

I'm getting so damn sick of all the reality show ![]() Force's show is all about sex! Just watch the promo. I have all daughters and I made the same comment about wishing for just one son to share interests with. I too will never live that down either. I said it in half-jest, but it will be forever remembered otherwise. Coddington - forget that arrogant A-hole. I don't care about his cars, put a fork in him. He's had his 15 minutes..... And about Paul Sr., let me add this. Again, more of the reality show ![]() than Paul Sr. has in all the rest. There is no way Paul Jr. could work in an environment like that ( constant put down from his father ) and produce pieces of art as he does. The bulk of the customization is 2D to be sure, but art none the less. As one who works with artists I can tell you that they do not take kindly to verbal trashing. The whole show is more ![]() Man, what a tangent I went off on there - huh?
